Two sets of rules in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico waters run from shore out to 9 nautical miles, and DRNA rules apply. Federal waters start past 9 miles, and NOAA Fisheries rules apply. The guide shows both.

How to measure: fork length is from the tip of the snout to the fork of the tail. Total length is to the very end of the tail.

"No PR limit" means DRNA lists no size, bag limit or closed season for that fish. Rules change, so always check DRNA and NOAA Fisheries before you keep a fish. When in doubt, let it go.

To report a violation, call DRNA's Ranger Corps (Cuerpo de Vigilantes).
