Parks & rules

Data rule: Islands, rocks, marinas and boat ramps come from OpenStreetMap. Marine parks come from the World Database on Protected Areas. Fishing spots are only placed on mapped islands and rocks, and never inside or next to a no-fishing area. BigJoe does not invent coordinates. The exact sources used on this map are listed under Map sources & checks below.

Rocks, cays and the Grenada Bank

The Grenadines sit on a shallow bank that runs from Bequia down to Grenada, dotted with rocks and cays where current pushes bait across the reef: the Pillories and Brooks Rock off Mustique, the rocks around Carriacou, and Ronde Island, the Two Brothers and Caille Island north of Grenada. These hold jacks, snappers, groupers and barracuda. On the Caribbean side the bank drops into deep water where wahoo, tuna, mahi-mahi and blue marlin run, and Grenada's charter boats fish it hard. Watch for Kick 'em Jenny, an active undersea volcano north of Grenada with an exclusion zone when it is restless.

The Tobago Cays, Mustique, Canouan, Bequia, Union–Palm Island and many small cays are marine parks or wildlife reserves, as are Grenada's Moliniere and Sandy Island parks. They show in red on the map.

St. Vincent, Grenadines & Grenada. Mapped features come from public datasets and can be incomplete or out of date: a missing reef, ramp or wreck does not mean it is not there.
Map data

13 hot spots, each with its own source (tap any star to see it): OpenStreetMap island position (general) (13).
Protected areas
39 protected areas from the official list above, drawn in dashed red. Fishing rules inside them are set by the managing agency; check with them before you fish.
Chart layers (Charts button)
GEBCO ocean depth and OpenSeaMap buoys, lights and markers. GEBCO and OpenSeaMap are useful references, not official navigation charts.
